About Shore Way Marketing

My Story

I’m formerly the founder of award-winning independent estate agency based in Faversham, Kent, and was instrumental in taking the business from an idea in 2016 to winning a Gold award in the British Property Awards in 2018 gaining the market share in the town’s property market along the way. It then went on to receive the prestigious Faversham Business of the Year from the Swale Business Awards in 2019.

In 2020 I moved from running an estate agency to set up Shore Way Marketing, a marketing agency aimed at supporting small independent estate agents with their marketing and community engagement.

Since then I have gone on to collect four industry awards for Shore Way Marketing and was shortlisted for Kent Business Woman of the Year in 2022.  But I’m most proud of the combined total of 14 awards we’ve helped our clients to win including industry awards from The ESTAS, awards for fundraising, community recognition and Industry Innovation.

Faversham Monopoly

Shore Way Marketing has run many projects in and around the Faversham area, most notably Faversham Monopoly, a project which has been entirely funded and created by businesses and residents of Faversham.  Other projects to note are Fiver Fest Faversham, various large carnival floats for Faversham’s well loved carnival.  Along with numerous events and pop up events which often include Rupert the Miniature Shetland pony!

Charity is also a big passion and a big part of what we do.  In the first three years of running Shore Way Marketing has organised fundraising and charity events that have collectively raised over £35,000, we believe this figure will rise to £50,000 by the end of 2023.

Digital Marketing

I’m skilled in digital marketing, customer service and branding and have deep insight into how to get a small brand known and loved locally – in not much time and with not much budget.

I’ve been helping people online for decades. I started my career working on IT helpdesks in the 1990s and have been a constant presence in local business and community forums ever since.

Through my work with Shore Way Marketing, I’ve become a popular and well-known figure in Faversham – and I’ve set up and run local Facebook groups including ‘Memories of Faversham and surrounding villages’ and ‘Homes For Sale and To Let in Faversham and Surrounding Villages’ engaging thousands of followers online.

I’m also part of the marketing collaboration Alloy Marketing, a team of local associates who all bring expertise and creativity to the mix – including experts in social media, PR, copywriting, web design, photography and graphic design.

Local Business

Living in my beloved east Kent all my life, I’ve seen first-hand how local businesses are suffering because of the coronavirus pandemic. And I’ve now set up Shore Way Marketing to help support shops and companies who are struggling to connect with their customers – and navigate their way through very trying times.

If you’re an independent estate agent, see how Shore Way Marketing can help you keep in touch with your clients, too.
