Christmas just wouldn’t be Christmas without an appearance from Rupert the Christmas pony.

Yes Rupert the miniature shetland pony will be out shaking his bucket to raise more much needed money for the wonderful child bereavement charity Holding On Letting Go.

On Saturday 16th December Rupert will be making his annual festive appearance at Standard Quay’s Christmas Market, he has told us, that he is so looking forward to seeing everyone again this year, so do pop along, have a cuddle and if you can pop a few pennies in his bucket.

Rupert loves Christmas, and believes there is no better time to support charity than at Christmastime. Most of us are lucky enough to be able to focus on family time and the joy of the season. But, for some children they can’t find the joy, they have lost someone they love, and Christmas can make their pain harder to handle. This is why Rupert has set up a Christmas fundraiser this year and wants to raise £1,000 so that Holding On Letting Go can continue to support children as they navigate their loss.

If you can’t pop along to Standard Quay on the 16th, please donate what you can to Rupert’s just giving page

ALL donations very much appreciated however big or small. Rupert is very aware that even the smallest things can make a huge difference. Please help him if you can. We know pennies are tight for everyone but thats why charities need our help even more.
